Mystic Cove is a great place to find spacious two bedroom condos in the $300,0000 range in Long Beach.  The location is ideally situated north of the Belmont Heights neighborhood and near the Circle Area of Long Beach.  The complex is secure and gated which is one of the bigger selling points for these condos.  One inside the complex there will be three different floors of condos with the most desirable units located on the upper level.  One of the reasons for this is that these penthouse units offer high vaulted ceilings combined with a gas fireplace and outdoor patio.  The kitchen is located as you enter the unit with a small breakfast bar and dining area.  The Master Suite bedroom tends to very spacious with a double closet and outdoor patio.

The forecast for the Long Beach real estate market coming into the Fall/Winter of 2019 has many wondering if a price correction of housing is coming in the next 6 to 12 months.  Many are speculating that the market will adjust which will leave many sellers motivated to sell quickly.  In the last real estate downturn in 2009 we saw some of the best deals come on the market.  A large number of these were bank owned properties as well as owners trying to short sale their property to bank.  Some of the best deals were those owners who still had enough equity in their home and were really really eager to sell.  These were probably the quickest deals since you were not at the mercy of the bank to make a decision on whether your offer was accepted or not.

Signal View is a very popular condo complex located in the heart of Long Beach for those looking for a condo in the mid $300,000 range.  The location of this complex at 2507 E 15th Street is in the Eastside area near the Circle area and Pacific Coast Highway.  All of the 61 condos located here are two bedroom with a variety of square footage units. On average, only a handful of these properties comes on the market each year.  Since 2018 many of the condos in this complex have been priced around $350,000 with the previous years priced in the high $200,000 to low $300,000 range.  Many of the units come with inside laundry with stackable washer/dryer units.  Some condos have been upgraded with granite counters and stainless steel appliances.

One of the newest condo communities in Long Beach is the Huxton building located at 351 E Broadway in the downtown Long Beach area.  These condos are new construction condos completed this year and offer a great opportunity to live in the heart of the Long Beach area.  One of the unique things about this building is that the condos span over 4 different levels.  This allows for entertaining spaces to be one level, bedrooms on another, and office space on another level.  This is not ideal for everyone as going up a lot of steps can be daunting and impractical for others.

A wonderful gated community in Long Beach is the Fountains neighborhood.  This is a great place to find 2 and 3 bedroom condos in a secure gated environment with 80 luxury homes that surround a central community pool, clubhouse, spa and tennis court.  The first thing that impressed me about these homes is the large open floor plan accented with high cathedral ceilings.  As you enter the one you see the main living quarters with a large kitchen and family and dining room.  The kitchens tend to be very generous in size and offer plenty of cabinetry and storage.  Upstairs bedrooms also have a lot of volume with high vaulted ceilings and generous size closets.

One of the best kept secrets in Long Beach is a small gated community called "Aubry" or "Aubry at Alamitos Ridge."  Homes were first built here starting back in 2010 and were part of a master planned community that originally offered three and four bedroom floor plans to choose from.  Prices back then started for some of the 4 bedroom homes at $579,900.  The home included at that time stainless steel appliances, granite counters and front yard landscaping among other upgrades like tankless water heater and insulated air ducts.  Since then prices have steadily been going up with many homes selling just under the $800,000 price point.

One of the smaller gated communities in Long Beach, California are the homes located on Old Zaferia Way.  The location is on the Eastside section of Long Beach below Highway 1 and the 405 freeway.  The community itself is very small with only 14 homes located in this gated street.  Built in the early 1990's all of the homes have a total of 3 bedrooms with 1,530 square feet according to our title report records.  On average, these homes come on the market once every 2 to 3 years and normally selling in the low $300 per square foot range.  The biggest difference among these homes tend to be the lot sizes with most homes below the 4,000 square feet range.  There are some select homes that boast over a 7,000 square foot lot but this seems to be more of an
