One of the best priced Long Beach gated communities is the Casa Alta Mar neighborhood. It's been nearly four and a half years since we last saw the last sale in this community which was in the summer of 2018. During that time frame two bedroom condos were selling in the mid $350,000 range which is a far cry to what prices in Long Beach have done since then. The real estate market has probably seen the biggest increase in the past 3 years since 2019 with current for two bedroom units at $585,000 and $640,000. What I love about this community is that are not super large, on average around 1,000 to 1,100 square feet but the floor plans are very well thought out. A lot of units will have a nice living room that opens to the kitchen and dining room often with a gas fireplace for those colder nights. Looks for those with nice outdoor patios which make all the difference in these condos. Below is a sales chart for all of the condos that have sold since 1999 in our multiple listing service.
The location is really hard to beat as it's approximately one block away from the Belmont Heights area which is filled with upscale real estate and is considered one of the best neighborhoods in all of Long Beach. It's also not too far from the upscale Belmont Shore area that continues down to the beach as it's all about location when buying real estate. There are a lot of nature and walking trails near this complex and a secure gated entrance for entering the complex as well as gated garage parking. Homeowners association dues at the time of writing this were $310 a month which is very reasonable for a gated condo community.
