The Franklin district of Long Beach is a very popular area located just outside the Alamitos Beach neighborhood in Long Beach, California.  The community is rich in history with some of the most oldest homes in Long Beach from the early 1900's being built here.  The most popular architectural style is the one story bunglow's that can often be found here in lower price points when compared with neighborhoods like Belmont Shore and Belmont Heights.  The boundaries of the neighborhood are located west of 7th street and east of 3rd street and between Alamitos Ave and Junipero Avenue to the north and south.  It's located near the Retro Row of 4th street which is a very popular area for retail shopping with over 100 unique stores, great restaurants and outdoor entertainment.

There are also many well priced condo buildings in this area that are often priced under $500,000.  Condo prices currently range from $169,500 for a one bedroom condo with 573 square feet to $489,888 for a three bedroom condo with 1,420 square feet.  For real estate investors there are also many residential income properties that include duplex, triplex and higher multi-unit buildings.  Currently, these income properties range from $599,900 to $1,925,000.  Many of our clients that are looking for condos outside the downtown area have specifically asked to live west of 7th street where the Franklin district is ideally located.  This is a place to call home that's within walking distance to the beach and local entertainment.  To learn more about this area please contact any of our Long Beach Real Estate agents at 562-355-8228.
