Belmont Heights is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Long Beach when looking for older historic homes that date back to the early part of the century.  Belmont Heights has a nice mixture of various architectural styles that include Spanish, Mid-Century, Cape Cod and Ranch style homes.  One of the most popular styles is in the Bungalow which can be found all over Belmont Heights neighborhood.  Within the Belmont Heights area are two neighborhoods that have a high concentration of Bungalow style homes.

The first neighborhood is the Bluff Park community.  This is a small little residential neighborhood that spans from Broadway down to the beach on Ocean Blvd.  If you are looking for the best of the best then this is where you start your search.

The South Newport complex in Long Beach, California is located at 363 Newport Avenue in the popular Belmont Heights area.  This is a small complex of 60 units that are situated in an approximate 10 block radius to the beach.  The one bedroom condos are very well priced with one current unit offered at $254,900.  Some of the highlights found here include a private balcony and an open floor plan that combines the kitchen and living spaces.

The building provides subterranean parking, individual laundry room and a front reception area.  The homeowners association dues are kept low and currently run $230.00 a month.  The dues include use of the community pool, barbecue area with pets allowed based on certain restrictions.  The building is not FHA or VA
