Some of the best values can be found in the Village on the Green community if you are in the market to buy a residential condo in the Long Beach area. Historically these condos do not come on the market very often and average around 5 listings every year to be offered for sale. From a a price point perspective it's really hard to beat the prices found here that often are listed in the low $400,000 range for a one bedroom condo. Most of the condos that do come on the market are one bedrooms condos with a variety of 551 and 651 square feet floor plans. The two bedroom units do come on the market occasionally with the last time we saw one was back in 2019 when one sold for $519,000.
One of the biggest selling points about living here is being in a gated community. Long Beach in general doesn't have a lot of gated communities so this is a huge selling feature. Once inside the community there is a community pool, spa, clubhouse and fitness center. There is even a decided laundry room and outdoor barbecue area well. The other big selling feature is it's prime location in the upscale Bixby Village area. It offers a close proximity to the water, golf course and local schools and universities. Rental homes are often available here and will be typically priced in the low $2,000 a month range for a one bedroom unit. These are ideal for first time home buyers or real estate investors looking for a return on their money.
