One of the more affordable places to buy a condo in the Downtown Long Beach area is the Sunset Pointe condo complex.  If you are familiar with the Downtown area then you will love that this condo building is located approximately two blocks from Broadway street and approximately three blocks from Ocean Blvd which is the main hub where you will find a lot of the great restaurants and shopping here.  What I love about this building is that no matter what the market is doing the prices seem to remain pretty stable over the years with no huge spikes.  What the building is most well known for is the wonderful roof top pool and spa area as pictured below.  It gives the building a true resort feel to it as well as providing underground parking in the

One of the more charming places to buy a condo in the Long Beach area is the Barcelona condo complex.  The complex dates back to 1928 and has the look and feel of an old historic Spanish Village with one and two bedrooms condos located around a central courtyard.  This is a rather small complex with only 20 condos located here with condos located on either the ground or second level.  What I love about these condos is some of the original details that can still be found in these condos.  Select condos in this building will offer beautiful hardwood flooring, wood beamed ceilings and classic Spanish tiles.  Condos in the building often come with a secured parking space with additional storage capabilities and two laundry facilities.   The location really

The Long Beach real estate market has seen a strong surge in real estate prices for the last year with a huge pool of buyers looking for well priced homes.  If you have looked at real estate prices in nearby beach towns you soon realize how expensive it is to live by the beach in Southern California.  One exception to this is the condo market in Long Beach, California where you can still find a wide range of properties that are priced under $300,000.  There are some really great condo buildings to consider in this price.First, the Wilmore Building located at 315 W 3rd street is a great place to start your search.  It's located in the Downtown area of Long Beach which has become the hub for many of the hi-rise condo buildings.  Currently real estate prices

One of the iconic buildings from the 1960's in the Long Beach area is the Chateau Lisa building.  The compex was built in 1968 and is one of the affordable places to find a two bedroom condo in the Belmont Heights area of Long Beach.  The exact location is on the corner of Junipero Avenue and 2nd streets mixed in with the Bluff Park neighborhood homes.  One of the best features I love about these condos are those with north facing windows that over look the Park area.  It adds an extra layer of the open floor plan with covered outdoor patios that take in the wonderful park views.  The location is also one of the best selling points as it's just blocks to the ocean and a short distance to local shops and restaurants.

Signal View is a very popular condo complex located in the heart of Long Beach for those looking for a condo in the mid $300,000 range.  The location of this complex at 2507 E 15th Street is in the Eastside area near the Circle area and Pacific Coast Highway.  All of the 61 condos located here are two bedroom with a variety of square footage units. On average, only a handful of these properties comes on the market each year.  Since 2018 many of the condos in this complex have been priced around $350,000 with the previous years priced in the high $200,000 to low $300,000 range.  Many of the units come with inside laundry with stackable washer/dryer units.  Some condos have been upgraded with granite counters and stainless steel appliances.

One of the newest condo communities in Long Beach is the Huxton building located at 351 E Broadway in the downtown Long Beach area.  These condos are new construction condos completed this year and offer a great opportunity to live in the heart of the Long Beach area.  One of the unique things about this building is that the condos span over 4 different levels.  This allows for entertaining spaces to be one level, bedrooms on another, and office space on another level.  This is not ideal for everyone as going up a lot of steps can be daunting and impractical for others.

Incorporated into the design are high ceilings, an open floor plan with energy star rated appliances and a smart tech home.  As you would expect there is an inside laundry room on the
